I got bit by the dance 'bug' back in LosAngeles first at the OC hideout "The Dollhouse" with a small joint just JUMPIN' with bobby soxers, and next at "The Derby" in Hollywood. Someone told me I belonged there. I sat with friends having a drink and was instantly mesmerised by the dancers. I knew I had to follow what was ahead at that moment in time!
I went on to teach and learn at many studios and from many teachers and from many life-long dancers. Learning is constant but now I just add to my foundations! I thank all of my instructors, and especially thank the live musicians and DJs! Having danced in many many social dance situations has left me with an excellent idea of what you really need to "Dance like a Rock Star" with your new or constant partner! Teaching you how to learn is the best gift I can give you! Give me a little patience and you'll see results!
I am dedicated to the idea that social dance is not only fun and invigorating but a vital part of our social structure! Overtime with mating dancing turning to techno, Social Dance has gotten lost in the shuffle. I like all forms of dance, but there is a special magic in dancing with the partner, and using all the lead and follow skills that we must develop on the dance floor! Two people moving in sync is amazing.
1992-94 Rockabilly/Swing w/Big Sandy & His Fly RightBoys @ the Doll Hut.
1995-97 Start learning Lindy Hop/Swing/ Charleston. Appeared in many Swing Dance News and other clips. Followed "Royal Crown Revue" with other dancers all over CA. Begin learning Swing Aerials.
1998 Work and teach in San Francisco for KABL, learn bronze & silver level ballroom & teach at Arthur Murray. Began Wedding dance Choreography in San Francisco and Long Beach, CA.
1999 Perform at 
Miss Teen Long Beach in front of 800 people. Teaching at Long Beach Dance studio. Teaching in Long Beach & studying with Eddie Vedolla & Lauren Kalem.
2000 Choreograph entertainment and girls at 
Miss Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach (CA). Became an independent instructor. Form "The Dance District" my own 8 person Swing Dance Team. Begin teaching Salsa.
2003 Relocate to Portland - Begin Private Instruction Only program! (no group instruction), and Began to specialize in Wedding Dance Instruction in Portland.Teach at PCC and various studio spaces.
2007- A&E Feature article in 
for "wedding dance instruction" by Lee Williams.
2008- Now offering American Tango.
